Bidadari Estate - A Community In A Garden

Bidadari Estate is envisioned as “A Community in a Garden” where green and open spaces are woven with six distinctive residential clusters.

The green spaces refer to a 10-ha Bidadari Park, which takes center stage as the heart of the estate, and the Central Green Spine. The Central Green Spine is a 1.6km and 20-metre wide lush greenway that connects the different distinct housing clusters to Bidadari Park and will be lined with rest spots, communal and sports facilities to promote community interaction. The Green Spine follows along the new road, Bidadari Park Drive which connects Bartley Road to Upper Serangoon Road traversing the entire estate.

The 10-hectares Bidadari Park will also consist of a new Alkaff Lake, a 700 metres Heritage Walk that will be lined with memorabilia dedicated to the Arab family who founded the former Alkaff Lake Gardens in 1929, and also Memorial Garden, a nod to Bidadari’s former role as a burial ground.

To advocate car light commute, a network of cycling and walking tracks will circulate the estate to promote cycling and walk as an alternative form of transportation.

The main underlying concept for Bidadari Estate is to plan out an urban tranquil oasis offering a garden-esque setting where residents can relax and interact with family and friends.
