According to the Business Times article dated 8 May 2019, developers of The Woodleigh Residences is setting its launch day on May 11 2019.
The Woodleigh Residences is developed by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) and Japanese developer, Kajima Development.
The project is poised to appeal to its buyers as a Japanese designed premium integrated development above The Woodleigh Mall. The project is also connected to an underground fully air-conditioned bus interchange and the Woodleigh MRT station.
SPH CEO, Mr Ng Yat Chung opines that The Woodleigh Residences is the jewel of the new Bidadari estate because it is the only integrated development there. The Bidadari Estate is poised to become Singapore’s first “community in a garden”. A 10 hectare Bidadari Park is planned which will promote green community spaces whilst simultaneously retaining the Bidadari heritage.
Executive VP of Kajima Development thinks that Japanese technology has a role to place in terms of space efficiency in Singapore real estate. The Japanese have primed their technology to adapt to rapidly dwindling apartment space through creative techniques in making small spaces becomes bigger via space maximization. These techniques can be applied to Singapore as she is moving in the same direction as Japan.
Late in 2018, 50 units were released for sale during the soft launch of The Woodleigh Residences. After selling 30 units, the JV decided to release another extra 50 units.
However, there is no confirmation on how many units will be released for sale during the actual launch.
